When you troubleshoot or suspect the call issue from VC to internet, you could you use B2B Call tester from Cisco. It gives you option to dial in or dial out to your endpoint. When connected, it shows your call stats as well.
B2B = Business to Business =Â Federation = one Company to another Company.
Videoconference related issue are hard to troubleshoot, especially b2b. Yes, you can take all the logs/debugs/captures on your side in reactive manner but you might not get the full picture untill you have the logs from other side as well. When you receive that ticket from end user and start working on b2b issue, you will need to ask external end user to contact their IT and then get you details, contact and logs ( it can take so much of time..).
This tool may not be a silver bullet to solve your issues, but it can help you isolate the issue and give direction about where to focus.
- If party A can connect to B2B call tester with Audio / Video just fine. No issue on their side. If they can not then…..
- If Party B can connect to B2B call tester with Audio / Video just fine. No issue on our side. If they can not then…..
